Owned and managed by third generation family members, Light Tool has been in business since 1953 and is one of the largest lighting manufacturers in Latin America. When producing and marketing commercial light fixtures, we stay on top of local market trends and continually invest in the latest production technology, so that our customers can offer innovations that will give them a competitive edge.
Located in the city of Iperó, São Paulo – Brazil, Light Tool has the capacity to produce 45,000 fixtures per month, distributing its products throughout Brazil through our sales team and distributors, and exporting to Central and North America. In North America we own LTI International, a sister company that guarantees local stocking and fast fulfilment of smaller quantities to the US and Mexico. Over the past 20 years, Light Tool has exported more than 500 containers from Brazil, which means more than 1 million of light fixtures.
We continually invest to develop new products and technologies, maintaining our product line with the newest solutions. We are committed to value-added partnerships that will reinforce our structure and expand our sales coverage and support to the market.
In 2023 Light Tool/LTI International launched a partnership with A.L.P. increase our support of the North American market. A.L.P. is an international leader in designing, manufacturing, and distributing components for lighting and other technical industries. They have been producing proprietary and custom components to North American lighting OEMs for more than 50 years, leveraging industry-leading expertise and numerous strategically located manufacturing and distribution locations. The partnership with LT/LTI production and development capabilities reinforces a core commitment held by both companies, to provide superior service and product performance to every customer.
To meet a full range of OEM customer requirements, Light Tool/LTI regularly ship full containers from Brazil and also support the market with a local stock located at the A.L.P. plant in Atlanta, GA
